Or, write us to earmark your gift for a specific project. Here’s a preview of our current fundraisers and how we use donations:

Biodiversity Conservation: Let us know, and we’ll add your donation to our year-end giving to protect threatened forests in Ecuador with Fundación EcoMinga. Since 2021, we’ve raised almost $20,000 for the conservation of threatened forests. Donations may be earmarked for “biodiversity conservation” to support a range of conservation projects, or “EcoMinga: Vanilla” to support EcoMinga’s Cloud Forest Vanilla Project.

Climate Justice Solutions: With a donation to the Artists for Climate Justice Fund, support sustainable development projects and other climate justice solutions for frontline communities. Since Earth Day, 2022, we’ve raised over $3,500 through River Glass Books sales and donations. With these funds, we’ve supported landslide relief efforts in the Baños, Ecuador, region; helped start a youth birdwatching program in the Ecuadorian Amazon basin; and we’re planning a clean water infrastructure project for the Mandari Panga community. Add the note “Climate Justice Solutions” to support these efforts, and read more about the Fund here.

Literary Arts: Show your support for River Glass Books by donating to our publishing projects. Books are printed on 100% post-consumer fiber text stock and bound by hand. Proceeds from our literary arts projects directly support climate justice solutions for frontline communities. Apart from the writing it houses, we believe the book itself—from the way it’s produced, marketed, and sold, to those who benefit from its sale—can be a tool for achieving social and environmental justice. Include the note “literary arts” to offset production expenses and help us create new arts programming, thereby increasing the impact of our climate justice efforts.

Support EcoStudio is our annual fundraiser to increase financial capacity and increase the impact of programming. Help us reach our goal for 2025: to raise $12,500 in unrestricted donations and receive 100 contributions. We’re already well on our way! As we exceeded our goal last year, the surplus has been applied to our 2025 goal. Read our latest impact report and consider EcoStudio in your charitable giving and help us continue our work.
Thank you! Our work would not be possible without your generous gift.
